data protection register
The Data Protection Act 1998 requires any organisation that processes personal information to notify the Information Commissioner of what they are doing.
The Cheltenham Partnership does not process such information. Any information that is held by specific organisations or partners will be covered by, and used in accordance with, their own specific data protection policies.
For those who are interested, the register can be viewed on the Information Commissioner's website. The register only shows what an organisation or individual is registered to do. It does not reveal whether or not they hold personal information on a particular person.
If you would like to receive a copy of the register, please contact:
The Office of the Information Commissioner Wycliffe House Water Lane Wilmslow Cheshire SK9 5AF Tel: 01625 545 745 Fax: 01625 524 510
Paper copies of individual register entries are available from the Office of the Information Commissioner free of charge (a small fee is payable for certified copies).
